Dalum griddles are made in Sweden from Swedish carbon steel, completely free from coatings. They are approximately 35% lighter than traditional griddles, making them easy to carry without feeling heavy or bulky. This makes Dalum griddles unique and perfect for use both on camping trips and outdoor excursions, as well as at home in the garden or summer house.

The choice of griddle size depends on how many people you usually are, what dishes you want to cook, and how portable you want the griddle to be. We have 3 different griddle sizes:

Dalum 30 cm ~1–2+ people

Choose Dalum 30 if you prioritize a lightweight and extra portable griddle that you can put in your backpack.

Suitable if you are 1–2 people.

With Dalum 30, you can cook burgers for 4–5 people if you cook in a couple of batches, but the griddle is a bit too small to cook a wok for 4–5 people.

Dalum 40 cm ~3–5+ people

Choose to add a carry bag for easy transport

Dalum 40 is our best-selling griddle, it is ideal for medium-sized groups, 3–5 people. It is spacious enough for families or smaller groups of friends. Choose Dalum 40 if you want a balance between size and portability, and if you often cook for a moderately sized group. Dalum 40 is also sufficient for more people if you choose to cook in batches.

Dalum 50 cm ~4–6+ people

Slightly larger but still portable

Choose to add a carry bag for easy transport

Suitable for larger groups, 4–6+ people. Provides a large cooking surface and is great for occasions where you cook in larger volumes. Choose Dalum 50 if you cook for larger groups or want more flexibility with space while cooking. With Dalum bags, Dalum 50 is still easy to bring on trips.

Our griddles are manufactured in Sweden using Swedish carbon steel. The griddle is 100% carbon steel, completely free from PFAS and other coatings. This allows us to reduce transportation and shorten lead times, benefiting both our customers and the environment.

Dalum griddles are suitable for cooking over most heat sources: open fire, gas, and grills. Our griddles require less heat energy and consume less fuel—they heat up quickly so you can start cooking fast, and cool down within just a few minutes once you're done.

We have developed a unique non-stick surface made entirely from carbon steel, without any harmful coatings. This allows food to release easily during cooking and makes the griddle very easy to clean afterwards.

The griddle is best cleaned directly after cooking, while it is still warm or slightly hot. Remove the griddle from the heat source and add a little water. Wait a minute, then clean the surface using a spatula or some paper.

It is also recommended to clean the legs and the underside of the griddle from soot using paper. This helps keep your storage bag and carry bag clean.

Store the griddle dry at room temperature to protect it from rust. If it will not be used for a while, apply a thin layer of cooking oil to prevent rust and keep it in good condition for the next use.
