Kolbulle
Kolbulle (Coal bun) as a matter of course was the food of coal miners and loggers. Even today, it is a Swedish classic that is cooked outdoors on the excursion.

The batter is enough for about 4 charcoal buns
Coal bun batter:
- 6 dl of water
- 4 dl wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 400 g of rimmed pork or bacon
Lingonberry jam
This is how we made it:
Mix the batter at home and take it with you in a bottle.
Start by frying the pork on the griddle until it is crispy and then add the batter. Fry the charcoal bun for a few minutes on both sides until it gets a nice colour.
Serve with lingonberry jam.
