Gahkku Sami Fire Bread
Baking bread on a griddle over an open fire is a nice way to bake bread over an open fire. The bread goes well with most things and not least with a reindeer rub and good vegetables.
Light the fire, heat up the griddle and start making this super delicious bread!

Ingredients:
- 1/2 bag dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 1/2 dl wheat flour
- 1 dl rye sem
- 1/2 cup bran or wheat bran
- 1 1/2 dl water
- 1 DL of milk
- 1/2 cup liquid honey
- 1 1/2 tbsp rapeseed oil
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Heat the water and milk until finger warm and mix the liquid with the dry ingredients and add the honey and the oil. Knead into a smooth dough and let rise covered for an hour.
Divide the dough into 7 pieces and roll them into small balls, cover with baking cloth.
Roll out the bread a little carefully and place the rolled out bread on a medium-hot griddle. Bake on a dry griddle for a few minutes per side.
Enjoy the steaming fresh bread.
